Attention Parents: Release of Information to Military Recruiters and Institutions of Higher Education Federal law requires schools to provide military recruiters and institutions of higher education, upon request, with three directory information categories unless parents have advised the school that they do not want their student’s information disclosed without their prior written consent. The three categories include name, address and telephone listing. Any parent, guardian, or eligible student who does not wish for the Wake County Public School System to release directory information to military recruiters and institutions of higher education must notify the school in writing each year within twenty (20) school days of receipt of this notice.

The SHS Class of 2000 will be celebrating their 10-year reunion on Saturday, September 25th, at North Hills Club from 7-11pm. Tickets are $30 a person. For tickets and more information, please contact sandersonhigh2000@hotmail.com.

All juniors and seniors interested in applying to National Honors Society must attend a brief application meeting. These meetings will be held on Tuesday the 31st and Wednesday the 1st, at 3:10, in POD 4. Applicants must have at least a 3.5 unweighted GPA. If you have any questions, see Mr. Washburn in POD 4.
