Coach Lewis teaches in the Healthful Living Department at Sanderson and is also the Head Football Coach at the school.

Coach Lewis is the third athletic director at Sanderson High School. Jim Brown was the athletic director from 1968 through 1982 and Bob Catapano was the athletic director from 1983 through 2010.
