Locating Sanderson High School and its Courts and Fields:
From the east and south: From the Raleigh Beltline (I-440), take exit 8B, Six Forks Road North. Go 1.5 miles and take a left at the light onto Millbrook Road (Exxon Station on right). Go one-half mile to first light and take a right at the light onto Dixon Drive. Go 0.3 miles and Sanderson is on the right. Parking for most on-campus sporting events will be most convenient if you take the SECOND entrance onto the campus (see sign for "Stadium").

From the west: From the "Outer Loop" (I-540) take Exit 11 for Six Forks Road and head south (toward Raleigh). Go 3.9 miles, passing through seven lights including the lights at the intersection of Six Forks and Lynn Road and then the intersection of Six Forks and Northclift Drive. At the eighth light, at Six Forks and Millbrook (Exxon station on the left), take a right onto Millbrook Road. Then take a right at the first light at Dixon Drive. Go 0.3 miles and Sanderson is on the right. Parking for most on-campus sporting events will be most convenient if you take the SECOND entrance onto the campus (see sign for "Stadium").

From the north: Traveling south on Capital Boulevard, take a right onto Millbrook Road. Cross major intersections at Atlantic Avenue, Falls of Neuse Road, and Six Forks Road. After crossing Six Forks Road (Exxon Station on the left), take a right at the next light at Dixon Drive. Go 0.3 miles and Sanderson is on the right. Parking for most on-campus sporting events will be most convenient if you take the SECOND entrance onto the campus (see sign for "Stadium").

Tennis Courts: Sanderson is grateful to the City of Raleigh for the use of the Optimist Park tennis courts located immediately adjacent to Sanderson High School. Use the main entrance to the school and follow the driveway to the rear of the student parking lot to find the tennis courts.

Baseball field:Sanderson is grateful to the City of Raleigh for the use of the Optimist Park baseball field. Access to the parking lot is located off Northclift Drive. Heading north on Six Forks Road, go 0.4 miles past Millbrook Road and take a left onto Northclift Drive. Go 0.6 miles on Northclift (bypassing the first entrance to Optimist Park at Whittier Drive) and take a left into the parking lot at Optimist Park.

Softball field: Sanderson is grateful to the City of Raleigh for the use of the Optimist Park softball field. We will begin using the OTHER softball field at Optimist Park for the 2006 season. Access to the parking lot is located off Northclift Drive. Heading north on Six Forks Road, go 0.4 miles past Millbrook Road and take a left onto Northclift Drive. Go 0.3 miles on Northclift and take a left onto Whittier Drive and into the parking lot at Optimist Park. That's the same parking lot used for Optimist Pool.
