Lacrosse
Everything you want to know about whether or not Sanderson will have lacrosse teams...
Will Sanderson be adding lacrosse teams any time in the near future? That’s a question that several people have asked over the past few years. We took a survey of Sanderson students in 2007 that revealed that there was insufficient interest at the time to warrant creating men’s or women’s lacrosse teams. We promised to conduct the survey again in the future. Well, the future is now. During the month of March 2009, we are inviting students who expect to attend Sanderson next year who would like to see Sanderson add lacrosse next year to respond to a written survey. Responding to the survey will be the official way to make your interest known. Copies of the survey are available online on this web page and are also available in the main office. Responses will be accepted through the end of March.
We will be hosting two lacrosse clinics here at Sanderson on Saturday, March 7 and Saturday, March 21, from 9 until 11 AM each day. The clinics are intended to bring together boys and girls who are already enthusiastic about lacrosse as well as to introduce the game to those with no experience who want to learn more about it. Only present Sanderson students are allowed to attend the clinics. Each attendee must submit a Certificate of Accident Insurance in order to participate. Details about the clinics and a copy of the Certificate of Accident Insurance are available online on this web page and are also available in the main office.
