The opportunity to coach tennis again is a challenge I look forward to with enthusiasm. I have missed being involved in the sport over the last few years and look forward to coaching again and playing again. Since participating on my high school team, I have always enjoyed the sport as a player, coach, and spectator. Tennis is one of the few sports that coaches actually continue to play as they coach. This rare opportunity gives a coach the chance to be a lifetime learner as he grows as both a player and a coach. My ability to coach tennis greatly exceeds my ability to play, which is good news for our team. Any shortcomings I have had as player have only served to make me more willing to learn what makes a player better, and I am excited about bringing that willingness to learn and grow to Sanderson Tennis. I invite you - prospective players and supportive parents – to join me as we continue to build a program that develops good tennis, good times, and good young men.
