2012-13 Student Schedules Mailed this week

Event Description:

Student schedules will be mailed the week of August 13th. Be on the lookout for yours! The student schedule feature on SPAN will open August 13th, so students and parents can view schedules there as well.

Please remember that students chose classes in March and had an opportunity to review their selections and make adjustments in May. Students will not have an opportunity to request changes for their 2012-13 schedule. Schedule fixes are approved in the following circumstances: class needed for graduation (seniors), and schedules that contain a class that the student has already passed. The few students who do have a hole in their schedule will be contacted before the opening of the school year to resolve that matter. If you do not receive a phone call, then your schedule does not have a hole and you received a full schedule that represents a combination of the primary and alternative courses that you registered for this spring.

Official 2012-13 schedules will be distributed in homeroom on the first day of classes- Monday, August 27th.

*Seniors- early release/late arrival. Seniors who have the appropriate amount of credits and have an elective class 1st period or 4th period may apply for early release and/or late arrival if they wish to be dropped from that elective class and have an open period. Applications are in Student Services and will be available on the SHS web site (Student Services, forms section). Approved seniors will not be allowed to be on campus during their early release/late arrival period.

*If you know friends/families who have been scheduled to attend Sanderson but are planning to attend elsewhere, please ask those friends/families to contact Sanderson so that we can assist them with their student's withdrawal and records transfer.
