School counselors will be providing valuable classroom guidance information to freshmen through English I classes. Students will learn about promotion requirements, graduation requirements, driving & athletic eligibility, high school GPA and much more.

At the end of each session, students should meet the following objectives:
Get to know your Student Services staff and how we can help you throughout high school.
Learn how to make an appointment to meet with a Student Services staff member.
Understand the promotion requirements to move from 9th to 10th grade.
Understand your graduation requirements.
Understand how college admission requirements can differ from graduation requirements.
Understand your GPA.
Understand how your 9th grade year influences your overall high school GPA.
